Located approximately 1 hour west of Doha, Al Zubarah Fort is an important Qatari heritage site. It was built in 1938, during the reign of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Jassim Al- Thani, on the ruins of a neighbouring fort. Al Zubarah Fort offers a unique location for an open-air event. The UNESCO World Heritage Site provides a traditional back drop in a culturally rich setting.
